Meet Dr. Daniel Huh
I’ve always had an interest in healthcare from a young age and I think the good thing about dentistry is it allows me to have long-term relationships as opposed to other healthcare providers where they may be seen for one or two visits and shut off but I think the overall continued care portion is really rewarding to see. I’ve always liked to do stuff with my hands and played multiple instruments growing up as a kid and I think it was good to be able to combine kind of mesh both, you know, art and science together. So I went to undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill, graduated with a major in exercises sports science and minor in chemistry and then I went straight into dental school at ECU.
Things are always changing. We like to be at our office at the bleeding edge of the technology that’s coming out to date and without that continuing CE, you know, there may be advancements in technology that could be very beneficial for patients that we wouldn’t be able to know about without it. So we’re always trying to improve, we’re trying to strive for the best for our patients and without the CE, we wouldn’t be able to do so.
I think being able to help not just get someone out of pain but be able to get their confidence back, being able to finally smile and not just aesthetically but functionally be able to eat and live life normally like everybody else would. Dentistry can be really rewarding when you see the fruits of the labor come out like that and I think it’s fun when it comes out great.
Dr. Daniel Huh is Dedicated to Continuous Learning
Dr. Huh believes that a radiant smile is more than just a cosmetic asset—it’s essential to overall health and well-being. Originally from Flushing, NY, Dr. Huh moved to NC with his family at the age of 10. He then attended UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Chemistry, graduating with distinction. Dr. Huh’s positive experiences at the dentist during his childhood, combined with his passion for serving and helping his community, inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Huh then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, proudly serving as class president.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Huh has dedicated himself to continuous learning, completing numerous advanced education courses to stay at the forefront of conservative and adhesive dentistry. This dedication to excellence ensures that patients receive advanced, state-of-the-art treatment with a personal touch. Dr. Huh is committed to making your dental visits as stress-free as possible, ensuring every patient leaves with a brighter smile and a better understanding of their oral health.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Huh enjoys exercising, traveling, spending time with his friends and family, and cheering on all UNC sports (Go Heels!)
In addition to English, Dr. Huh is also fluent in Korean.

My only regret is that Dr. Moran is leaving the practice to relocate her residence. I have been her patient for almost 18 years and I will miss the excellent care she has given me.
