I would treat a denture and making a denture just as we treat a cosmetic case. You have to get a good bite, you have to make sure that the teeth are positioned in a good spot for the smile, and we pick a good shade. And they can be quite aesthetic compared to what may be there that needs to come out.
You don’t want to keep teeth that are broken or teeth that are decayed or infected in the mouth because that’s not good for your overall health. So when those are removed, and the gums usually feel a lot better, and a denture can really look amazing. If you wanted to take it one step further and put implants underneath the denture, even two or four, just to help have a little extra retention and snap the denture on or screw the denture in.

Dentures can replace either a few missing teeth or all your teeth, depending on your situation. We offer dentures in several styles to accommodate just about every patient. You can get partial or full conventional dentures that remove easily for cleaning, or you can stabilize your dentures with a set of dental implants for superior comfort and performance.
In general, most patients can expect their new dentures to be made in about one to two weeks. Some cases may take a little longer, and some a little shorter. You will then try them on to make sure they fit, and we’ll make any needed adjustments if they don’t. We can provide you with temporary dentures to wear while your final restorations are being made. That way, you don’t ever have to be without your teeth again.
Dentures can vary widely in cost, depending on the style you choose and your individual circumstances. We would need to examine you and develop some treatment options before we could give you an accurate estimate. We do offer third-party financing through CareCredit to make your dentures more accessible.
