If you are ready for dentures, your dentist will begin by ensuring your overall mouth is in good condition. Remaining teeth may need to be removed if they aren’t in good enough shape to leave in place. Then, we’ll need to take digital scans to capture impressions of your teeth. This information allows our trusted dental lab to create your dentures. Our team will walk you through the entire process. You’ll feel comfortable the whole way.
Your dentures options include:
- Partial Dentures – If you have some healthy teeth remaining, you may be a good fit for partial dentures. This removable appliance snaps into place and fills the gap in your smile.
- Full Dentures – You can replace an entire arch of teeth with full-arch dentures. These are customized to look natural in your mouth. You take them out at night to give your gums a break. They stay in place with suction and adhesive.
- Implant Dentures – Secure your dentures to implants for more lifelike function. You no longer have to use adhesive to keep your teeth in place. Your jaw also stays healthier because implants stimulate the bone the same way that natural tooth roots do.

Who might need dentures?
Dentures can replace either a few missing teeth or all your teeth, depending on your situation. We offer dentures in several styles to accommodate just about every patient. You can get partial or full conventional dentures that remove easily for cleaning, or you can stabilize your dentures with a set of dental implants for superior comfort and performance.
How long does it take to make dentures?
In general, most patients can expect their new dentures to be made in about one to two weeks. Some cases may take a little longer, and some a little shorter. You will then try them on to make sure they fit, and we’ll make any needed adjustments if they don’t. We can provide you with temporary dentures to wear while your final restorations are being made. That way, you don’t ever have to be without your teeth again.
How much do dentures cost?
Dentures can vary widely in cost, depending on the style you choose and your individual circumstances. We would need to examine you and develop some treatment options before we could give you an accurate estimate. We do offer third-party financing through CareCredit to make your dentures more accessible.
