Meet Dr. Tori Irvine
I guess I loved, I loved science in school and math, and I loved working and coaching kids. And so somebody in my family said, hey, you should be a dentist. And so I worked with my dentist and thought, OK, this is good.
I’ll go to dental school. And then I actually really went to dental school. I went to UNC Chapel Hill for undergrad.
I ran for Chapel Hill, actually, and got the Scholar Athlete Award. And then I graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. And then I went to UNC School of Dentistry, also in Chapel Hill, and graduated with honors.
For a couple of years, I did a whole series of classes for placing implants and bone grafting. I also have taken an extensive number of classes for Invisalign, just to improve the outcome, more efficient outcome, using the Invisalign technology. I also took a series of, a mini residency for the Dawson, which is a type of full mouth rehabilitation class, which lasted over a year and a half.
Because things have changed so fast in dentistry, it’s good to keep updated and keep getting the new technology and everything, too. The most rewarding thing about being a dentist is helping somebody who has a painful tooth or a broken tooth, or somebody who does not like their smile. And because we were able to improve their smile, they have more confidence and smile more.
Dr. Tori Irvine Shares Her Passion for Healthy Smiles
Since the 9th grade, Dr. Tori Irvine had a passion for biology. After helping out at dental offices during the summer, her love of science grew into a passion for dentistry. She received her doctorate from UNC–Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. For 17 years, she has shared her love of caring for smiles with her patients.
Dr. Tori is committed to helping you achieve optimal dental health and a beautiful smile. She has completed hundreds of hours of advanced training so that you and your family will receive the best care. She is Dawson-certified and received additional implant training through implant seminars taught by Dr. Arun Garg. Also, she has invested in advanced technology for our office, such as a CEREC machine for same-day dental restorations and CBCT scanning equipment. She has invested time, effort, and money into being able to meet almost all of your smile needs at one location.
When not in the office, Dr. Irvine enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include participating in triathlons, tennis, yoga, hiking, and visiting national parks.

She will discuss your dental plan in detail so you understand the priorities on what should be done and when. I went to her new office quite awhile after she left my previous dental center. I now needed crown work for a broken tooth and another temporary crown and final crown after oral surgery and endontist root canal. Dr. Irvine referred me to an excellent oral surgeon and endodontist. My visit was justified and I prefer only her to plan for and provide the care of my teeth.
