Meet Dr. Daniel Huh
I’ve always had an interest in healthcare from a young age and I think the good thing about dentistry is it allows me to have long-term relationships as opposed to other healthcare providers where they may be seen for one or two visits and shut off but I think the overall continued care portion is really rewarding to see. I’ve always liked to do stuff with my hands and played multiple instruments growing up as a kid and I think it was good to be able to combine kind of mesh both, you know, art and science together. So I went to undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill, graduated with a major in exercises sports science and minor in chemistry and then I went straight into dental school at ECU.
Things are always changing. We like to be at our office at the bleeding edge of the technology that’s coming out to date and without that continuing CE, you know, there may be advancements in technology that could be very beneficial for patients that we wouldn’t be able to know about without it. So we’re always trying to improve, we’re trying to strive for the best for our patients and without the CE, we wouldn’t be able to do so.
I think being able to help not just get someone out of pain but be able to get their confidence back, being able to finally smile and not just aesthetically but functionally be able to eat and live life normally like everybody else would. Dentistry can be really rewarding when you see the fruits of the labor come out like that and I think it’s fun when it comes out great.
Dr. Daniel Huh is Dedicated to Continuous Learning
Dr. Huh believes that a radiant smile is more than just a cosmetic asset—it’s essential to overall health and well-being. Originally from Flushing, NY, Dr. Huh moved to NC with his family at the age of 10. He then attended UNC Chapel Hill, majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Chemistry, graduating with distinction. Dr. Huh’s positive experiences at the dentist during his childhood, combined with his passion for serving and helping his community, inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry. Dr. Huh then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, proudly serving as class president.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Huh has dedicated himself to continuous learning, completing numerous advanced education courses to stay at the forefront of conservative and adhesive dentistry. This dedication to excellence ensures that patients receive advanced, state-of-the-art treatment with a personal touch. Dr. Huh is committed to making your dental visits as stress-free as possible, ensuring every patient leaves with a brighter smile and a better understanding of their oral health.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Huh enjoys exercising, traveling, spending time with his friends and family, and cheering on all UNC sports (Go Heels!)
In addition to English, Dr. Huh is also fluent in Korean.

Oh My Gosh! Dr. Tori Irvine and her assistant Jackie, as well as the administrative staff…and everyone there are fantastic! I had a cavity in a wisdom tooth that was taken care of…that could have lead to an eventual root canal. No pain, sensation…or any kind of uncomfortableness. Dr. Irvine’s professional expertise is beyond description! How’s this: I walked out feeling my tooth was the same as before I walked in! I don’t mind having a temporary crown, in fact that’s what I’m used too; and then getting regular crown later. Now a days crowns are done in the office with new technology, but with the new software I think Dr Irwin did the best she could. I’m glad if she wasn’t satisfied she wasn’t going to make it work. I’m OK waiting for new crown to be fixed off site. But; it was a long 3 hours with the whole ordeal. Mouth is sore; but I’m fine. I would recommend Providence Dentistry to my friends. Thanks We completed the crown today and it went well; with little or no problems. I feel good so far and Dr. Irwin did a good job. Tay her dental assistant also did a good job. I have a cleaning coming up on Nov1st. LETS DO IT!!!! My cleaning on the 9th was great with Emily. She does a great job!!! 12-3-24 I had a cleaning today with Emily and she was great. She is really the only one that cleans my teeth and I’m very satisfied with her expertise. She is also very personal and a nice person. 4/11/24 Had cleaning today and Emily was fantastic. She is personable, professional and kind. She knows her patients and remembers things about them, which always makes me feel good. I would recommend her to anyone, thanks Emily!!! Cleaning was good; Emily did good job. She observed an area that needs a filing. It will done in December at my next cleaning.
