Rhonda’s so Happy with Her New Dentures
I wear an upper denture, and I smile, and I’m happy. And I come here for cleanings and stuff. They just make me happy here.
Before the denture, I had implants put in to hold the denture in, and that was, you know, drilling into my gum and stuff, and that’s anxiety, but she was with me the whole way. This Dr. Irvine, you know, she held my hand when I had to have certain procedures done. You know, she is always there to make you feel comfortable.
There’s no anxiety coming to this practice. Doing the dentures was the best thing. This Dr. Irvine and her group truly, you know, were there to help me every step of the way, and it was about four or five appointments at least, but everything was fine.
It makes me smile more. I’m happy more, you know, and I have been. Not that I wasn’t happy before, but the denture and the procedure and everything just made me more relaxed, more happy.
I can smile more. I show my wonderful teeth.

My wife and I were in Charleston and we mentioned to one of the medical assistants at the practice we had been going to for 14 years that we were coming to Charlotte. And the woman popped right up and she said, you’ve got to go to Dr. Irvine. I said, why? She said, I had a very happy work experience there.
And she extolled the qualities that she thought would be attractive to me. So with that kind of a recommendation, an inside job kind of person, that led us to the door. The most important thing for me coming here is the quality of the people that I deal with.
Whether it’s Holly and Heidi when I come in the door, when it’s Dr. Irvine that often does stuff for me, the quality is unparalleled.

Everyone here is cheerful, upbeat, because sometimes going to the dentist some people are a little nervous, but they put you at ease here, explain to you what’s going to take place, straightforward, no surprises. There’s a little more care given here and a little more instruction as to what’s going to take place, a little more preparation for the patient. They put you at ease here, and I’m not forced to wait.
You’re not sitting there for countless minutes, so there’s a real consideration for your time, which you don’t always find in the medical industry as a patient. Everyone here is very friendly, accommodating, again consideration for your time, and Dr. Irvine has a great sense of humor, and I like humor because it puts me at ease with someone in the medical profession.

Fred’s Implant Experience
I just had an implant with a crown on top of the implant. Well, it is a process with the outside surgeon, an oral surgeon, so she had one to recommend who was excellent. That process, it was complicated, not due to his error, just because of the tooth was not in a good way, but they really worked to make it smooth, and the two of them in tandem made it a much easier process than it could have been.
Like, nothing ever happened. Tooth is fine. I don’t have any issues with it at all.
Was it even sore when I left here? Just, it was great.

I’ve been coming to the practice for about 25 years when I first moved to this area. And I’ve been here since Dr. Irvine started. I remember the day she walked into the office, happy and friendly.
There are good people here. Dr. Irvine and her group are very good dentists. They have professionalism, friendliness.
Everybody knows your name here. I can walk in and they make me feel special. It’s the professionalism they show.
They do everything. I remember when I might have needed a root canal, but my dentist would have to send me to somebody else that did that. Here at this practice, they do everything.
It’s a one-stop shop, I guess, but it’s professionalism again. It’s a good place. They’re just wonderful, good people.
And I enjoyed coming here for quite a long time. They’ll never get me out of here.

I’m not exactly sure why, I don’t recall exactly why we needed an implant, but I wasn’t in any pain or discomfort. There was a hole in my mouth and we had to fill it. And an implant was recommended and was done without incident, without issue.
I had never had an implant before, so it was a first time event. But if you need to have an implant and you want it done the right way and you want to be taken care of, come here. Everything works.
Everything works subsequent to the implant being implanted. Boom, and here it is.
